San Benito County Cruise! 9/26/09

We have planned a 60 mile cruise around the back roads of San Benito County for Saturday 9/26/09.

We will meet up in Gilroy, CA at the Starbucks parking lot (At the corner of 10th St. and Camino Arroyo: 6865 Camino Arroyo, Gilroy, CA)

Meet up in the morning aiming to depart at 10AM.

We will have a couple of stops, one being a winery (http://www.pietrasantawinery.com), where you can choose
to taste or just enjoy the spectacular views. The winery will also make a beautiful stop to line up our rides for a photo op.

The cruise will end at Relax, Grillin' and Chillin' (http://www.relaxgrillinchillin.com), our county's newest
family friendly burger and beer place.

Monterey 100 Cruise

Come join us for our annual Monterey 100 Cruise on February 8th 2009! This 100 mile cruise starts on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula, & meanders through the lovely Carmel Valley, & local wine country, including an historic California Mission! Many great photo ops! Potluck BBQ/picnic at cruise midpoint.

We will meet at 9:30 am in the Del Monte Center parking lot near Starbuck's and head out at 10:00 am.

Run That Turkey Out of Town

Come out an join us rain or shine for the "Run That Turkey Out of Town" cruise on Sunday November 16th.

We will be meeting at 9:30am in front of The Giant Artichoke in Castroville.

At 10:00am will be depart Castroville for Gizdich Ranch in Watsonville and lunch.

Gizdich Ranch is a working apple farm with walking tours, antiques shop, bake shop with sandwiches, gift shop, play area for the kids and picnic tables. There is no admission or parking fee and we've called ahead to let them know we'll be stopping in.

7th Annual Vintage Volkswagn Cruise

It's Vintage Cruise time!

This years cruise is scheduled for Sunday, October 5th, 2008.

We will meet at the Del Monte Shopping Center in Monterey at 10am. Meet in the parking lot near Starbucks. The cruise will head out to Cannery Row, around the Asilomar, and end up at the Veterans Memorial Park for a potluck-style BBQ.

MPAS has lost a true kind soul

Daniel was a true, kind, gentle soul who always had a kind word and positive outlook.

He was someone you could meet for the first time and instantly feel like you had made a true friend.

He will be greatly missed.

Please join us for a cruise in memory of Daniel Provo this coming Sunday, March 2nd. The plan is to meet at Del Monte Center at 11:00am, leave at 11:30am & cruise to Point Lobos for a potluck lunch. We may go straight to the final destination, or do an abbreviated cruise around the Peninsula depending on the weather & everyones state of mind.

Thanks to everyone that participated in the short but sweet cruise. It was great to see some of the members from years past make it out and as always BLTN made an excellent showing.

We have decided the next event will be a cruise up to Half Moon Bay in January.

Well, another year has passed and another great turn out for the Vintage Cruise came together! Thank you to everyone who put this fun day on their calendars. We had over 25 cars show up and the weather was perfect. Check out our 'Groups' site to see some of the pictures from the day.

5th Annual Vintage Volkswagen Cruise

Hey Everyone,
It's that time of year. We are going to have to the Annual Vintage Volkswagen Cruise on SUNDAY September 3rd.

We will meet at the Del Monte Shopping Center in Monterey at 10am. Meet behind the Mervyn's area. The cruise will head out to Cannery Row, around the Asilomar, and end up at the Carmel Valley Rec Center for a Pot Luck.

There is a $10 entry fee - we get to park on the GRASS!!!!
