How you became interested in Vintage Vw's: In High School, I bought my first Bug- it was a piece of @#$!!!!  Lots of time, money, blood and sweat to get it looking nice. My current Bug is my 6th Vw!

Why did you pick this particular model?: Great exterior parts- turn signals, tail lights, flat-windshield, etc. Also, it kind of fell into my hands.

Any stories/facts about this particular car: In 1996 this car was hit by a Cadillac- smashing ( or "Squish"-ing the passenger door and 1/4 panel into the car). The Caddy was towed off, but the Bug puttered on!

How being a member of MPAS improves your Vintage Vw experience: Tons of great ideas and support from everyone. The motivation and love for my old Vw has been at an all time high since hooking up with MPAS.
