Owners Name:
Traver Wall

Standard Microbus
Year:
1966
Color(s)
Grey and White
Nickname (if any):
none
Car Features:
Stock/vintage look. Stainless safari windows, Westy fold out bed and matching closet, roof rack, Hella fog lamps, etc.
Mechanical/Cosmetic changes in the works:
I have curtains from Dawn at PLF that are ready to go in and also some Hella fluted (Euro style) headlight lenses that I scored at the Classic.
Any work that you did/do yourself that you are particularly proud of:
Recently installed an adjustable front beam, replaced all brake shoes, replaced the front brake lines.
Why did you pick this particular model?
I just wanted a split bus that was clean and usable as a daily driver and also for camping. I'm actually kind of glad it's not a Deluxe because I would have felt wierd about putting a camper bed in a Deluxe.
Any stories/facts about this particular car:
The guy I bought it from had fixed it up for his wife but she didn't want to drive it because it didn't have air conditioning.
Final Comments:
Can't wait to go to shows and go camping in 2003!
